NH fuse-bases are available in single-pole and three-pole configurations, suitable for close parallel mounting. Each three-pole base includes two phase-partition walls, enhancing safety and functionality. The design allows for the incorporation of NH fuse-links, which can be equipped with clip-on covers that attach to contact springs. The plastic bases for sizes 00 to 3 are constructed from a single piece of plastic, while size 4 features a metal baseplate along with two ceramic bases.

These bases are equipped with stable silver-plated contact springs made from electrolytic copper, ensuring reliability under thermal stress due to the inclusion of highly resilient captive steel springs. Specifically, the size 4 NH fuse-bases accommodate size 4 fuse-links with 8 mm contact blades. A microswitch compatible with NH fuse-links can be integrated, operating at 250VAC/10A and accommodating terminal sizes of 6.3x0.8mm, functioning effectively when a fuse melts or is absent. However, indirect touch protection fuse bases do not support a microswitch.

The rated impulse withstand voltage for these bases is 6kV and 8kV for sizes 00 and 0-4, respectively. The installation is designed for DIN rail mounting, with a torque rating of 283.22 lb-in.
