The 5-pole male XLR receptacle is designed to facilitate switching operations with contacts that activate upon mating. This configuration allows for the monitoring and control of the connected state. The receptacle includes both normally open and normally closed contacts, enhancing its functionality.

Constructed with a round plastic body, this XLR PCB mount panel connector achieves a high packing density with a center distance of 23 mm. It utilizes newly designed fork-type contacts, which are plated with hard gold and feature polished contact surfaces for improved performance.

This model complies with the IEC 61076-2-103 standard and has a flammability rating of UL 94 HB. It offers a protection class of IP 40 and operates within a temperature range of -30 °C to +80 °C. The receptacle supports a rated current of 3 A per contact and a rated voltage of less than 50 V.

With an insertion and withdrawal force of less than 20 N, it ensures ease of use. The component is built for durability, exceeding 1000 mating cycles and featuring a latch lock for secure mounting. The vertical PCB mounting design allows for efficient wiring, with the grounding option connected to the mating connector shell and front panel, separate from Pin 1.
