The Omron EE-SX674R Slot-type Photomicrosensor is a versatile and reliable sensor designed for precise object detection in industrial automation applications. Featuring a through-beam sensing method and a slot width of 5 mm, this sensor ensures accurate detection of opaque objects as small as 2 x 0.8 mm. The sensor offers selectable Dark-ON/Light-ON operation modes and a PNP open collector output, making it adaptable to various control systems.

With a non-modulated infrared LED light source (940 nm) and a response frequency of 1 kHz, the EE-SX674R provides fast and reliable performance. The sensor is designed for close-mounting applications and features a connector type connection method for easy installation. It operates within a wide power supply voltage range of 5 to 24 VDC and includes output short-circuit protection for enhanced safety.

Built to withstand harsh environments, the EE-SX674R has an IP50 degree of protection, vibration resistance up to 100 m/s², and shock resistance up to 500 m/s².
