The SC Simplex Fiber Optic Connector, a component of the OptiCam® series, is engineered for multimode 50/125μm OM2 duplex fiber applications. This connector is ideally suited for 900-micron tight-buffered fiber installations, facilitating rapid field termination in approximately two minutes when using the OptiCam 2 Termination Tool. Its pre-polished fiber endface design significantly reduces the need for extensive field polishing, thereby lowering installation costs.

This connector features a natural-colored body complemented by a black backbone and outer housing, enhancing its visibility and usability. With a maximum operating temperature of 60°C (140°F) and a minimum operating temperature of 0°C (32°F), it is designed to perform reliably in various environments. The connector meets RoHS compliance and exceeds TIA/EIA-568-B.3 performance requirements.

Sold in packs of 100, this product is suitable for maintenance or emergency restoration of fiber networks, as well as for both behind-the-wall (BTW) and permanent installations within panelized interconnect and cross-connect systems. The maximum connector insertion loss is 0.3 dB, while the minimum return loss is 20 dB, ensuring high signal quality.
