The M12 D-Code modular plug is engineered for field termination, compatible with industrial-grade 26/7 - 22/7 AWG stranded Cat 5e UTP or shielded copper cables. Its construction features a zinc die-cast housing with a 360° shield, ensuring durability and robust performance in challenging environments.

With an ingress protection rating of IP65/IP67, this plug is designed to withstand dust and water exposure. It supports an extended temperature range, accommodating more demanding operational conditions. Termination is straightforward and does not require any specialized tools, allowing for a seamless connection to a 2-pair stranded or solid twisted-pair copper cable.

This product meets or exceeds various standards including ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Category 5e and ISO 11801 Class D standards at frequencies up to 100MHz. It also complies with electrical and mechanical performance requirements for ODVA Ethernet/IP and PROFINET, as well as UL 1863 and IEC 60603-7-51. Additionally, it is suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, adhering to IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards.
