The PCSB4-8-4Y Multi-Tap Mechanical Connector features a versatile design suitable for various applications, including aluminum or copper code conductors. Constructed from high-strength extruded aluminum alloy, it ensures reliable electrical and mechanical performance. The connector is insulated with clear PVC, which eliminates the need for additional taping while allowing for visual inspection of the conductor insertion.

This model supports a range of conductor sizes, with a minimum size of 14 AWG for both solid and stranded copper conductors, and a maximum size of 4 AWG for aluminum conductors. It accommodates up to 8 ports, making it ideal for multi-tap applications. The overall dimensions are 31.7 mm in height, 112 mm in length, and 38.1 mm in width. The connector is tin-plated and meets UL and CSA standards, rated for use up to 600V and a temperature of 90°C.
