The ML6-8-H-40-RT/DS/25/115/136 is designed for standard applications, providing a detection range adjustable from 10 mm to 40 mm. Its dual background suppression capability ensures accurate object detection, with the ability to operate effectively even in ambient light conditions up to 40,000 Lux for continuous light and 5,000 Lux for modulated light. The sensor utilizes two LEDs emitting visible red light at a wavelength of 660 nm.

With a minimum background suppression starting at 50 mm, the sensor is equipped with a response time of just 1 ms and a switching frequency of 500 Hz. The output configuration includes short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, with a maximum switching current of 100 mA and a voltage drop of ≤ 2.5 V DC.

The sensor is housed in an IP67/IP69K rated enclosure, ensuring protection against dust and high-pressure water, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. Its operational temperature range extends from -20 °C to 60 °C, while storage is feasible from -20 °C to 75 °C. The device is connected via a 2 m fixed cable and constructed from durable materials including ABS for the housing and PMMA for the optical face.
