The MACX MCR-TS-I-OLP is a loop-powered temperature measuring transducer that facilitates the transmission of signals from up to two sensors, including RTD and thermocouple (TC) types, as well as voltage and resistance sensors. Operating within a current output range of 4 mA to 20 mA, it supports HART communication protocol version 7 with a transmission speed of 1200 Baud.

This device features a temperature measuring range greater than 10 K for RTD sensors and a linear resistance measuring range from 10 Ω to 2000 Ω. It is designed to operate under Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 2 (IEC 61508) and has a systematic capability rating of 3, ensuring reliable performance in critical applications.

With a compact design, the transducer measures 12.5 mm in width, 112.5 mm in height, and 113.7 mm in depth, and is suitable for mounting on a DIN rail. The device is rated for an ambient temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C during operation and -40 °C to 100 °C for storage and transport, making it suitable for a variety of industrial environments. The degree of protection is IP20, which indicates it is suitable for indoor use.

For connection, it employs a screw method with a conductor cross-section ranging from 0.2 mm² to 2.5 mm² for both rigid and flexible conductors. The maximum current output can reach up to 23 mA with a load calculation based on the formula (UL - 11 V) / 0.023 A. The device is manufactured in Germany and includes an LED status display for operational feedback.
