The 8903L series of multipole lighting contactors are specifically engineered for lighting control applications. These contactors are available in both mechanically held and electrically held configurations; this particular unit is a mechanically held device.

Designed to manage lighting circuits, the 8903L can safely switch loads up to 30A of fluorescent lighting and 20A of tungsten lighting. The contact configuration provides flexibility with field-convertible contacts, allowing transition from normally open (NO) to normally closed (NC). This device features a 4-pole design, incorporating four NO contacts.

Operation is facilitated by two distinct operating coils: one for latching the contactor and another for unlatching. Both coils are rated at 110/120 VAC, operating on either 50 or 60 Hz frequencies. A wide range of alternative coil voltages up to 600VAC are available.

The contactor is supplied in an open-style configuration, allowing for easy inspection and maintenance. Enclosure options are readily available separately. Both coils and contacts can be easily replaced in the field. The device has dimensions of 8.81 inches (height) x 2.88 inches (width) x 3.25 inches (depth).

The 8903L lighting contactor is both UL Listed and CSA Certified, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.
