This Schneider Electric Altivar 340 variable speed drive is designed to cater to the needs of applications in challenging environments. It can handle up to 5.5kW / 7.5hp with a rated voltage from 380V to 480V AC. The ATV340 is built to withstand vibrations, shocks, and non-conductive dust, while also offering high temperature resistance up to 60 °C. It comes standard with Modbus serial line communication protocols and features multi-protocol Ethernet embedded, including Ethernet IP and Modbus TCP communication interfaces. With a weight of 2.9kg and dimensions of 110mm wide, 270mm high, and 234mm deep, this drive is suitable for packaging, material handling, material working, and hoisting applications. It conforms to international standards IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 (immunity and conducted and radiated EMC emissions), IEC 60721-3, IEC 61508, IEC 13849-1. It is also CE, UL, CSA, and TÜV certified. Accessories like encoder interface modules, I/O expansion modules, communication modules, braking resistors, line chokes, additional EMC filters are available depending on the drive rating. The ATV340 can be mounted in a vertical position (+/- 10 °) on a panel with 4 fixing holes. It is fully integrated into Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Machine through DTM and can be configured, controlled, and diagnosed directly in SoMachine and SoMove software.
