Engineered for seamless integration into control systems, the TeSys D series of contactors provides a versatile solution for motor starting across diverse applications. This 12A IEC contactor is rated for both horsepower (HP) and kilowatt (kW) motor ratings to ensure global compatibility. It delivers 3 HP at 200-208 VAC, 3 HP at 240 VAC, 7.5 HP at 480 VAC, and 10 HP at 600 VAC for three-phase applications, alongside 0.5 HP at 115 VAC and 2 HP at 240 VAC for single-phase loads. The contactor can be easily mounted on a DIN rail or directly to a panel. When paired with an appropriately sized circuit breaker or fuse, it achieves a Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) of up to 100kA. Specifically, when utilized with a 480 VAC circuit breaker rated up to 35A, the SCCR reaches 85kA; employing a 600 VAC 30A Class J or CC fuse enables an SCCR of 100kA. The device incorporates a standard 48 VAC 50/60 Hz coil for reliable operation and includes one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) auxiliary contact, with the NC contact being mirror certified. Connections are facilitated through screw clamp terminals for both load and auxiliary circuits. A broad selection of accessories is available to accommodate a wide range of application needs.
