The TeSys D contactor is engineered for integration into control systems, enabling the creation of motor starters for diverse applications. This model operates with a maximum current of 80A and features a three-pole (3 NO) configuration, compatible with 480VAC three-phase systems, providing a power rating of 40HP. It is suitable for applications involving resistive loads and motor control.
With a coil voltage of 48VAC at 50/60Hz, this contactor can be directly mounted on a panel or installed on a DIN rail. It is equipped with one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact, the latter being mirror certified. The contactor utilizes screw clamp terminals for both load and auxiliary connections, and its compact dimensions—122mm in height, 55mm in width, and 120mm in depth—facilitate space-saving installations.
Designed for durability, the contactor meets multiple international standards including UL, CSA, and IEC, and is certified for use in marine applications. Its operating temperature range is from -40°C to 60°C, with a derating applicable at higher temperatures. The mechanical robustness allows it to withstand vibrations and shocks as specified.
