This TeSys Ultra power base forms the foundation of a complete motor starter solution, suitable for 3-phase motor circuits up to 5.5kW at 400V. The standard U series base incorporates three normally open (NO) poles and is rated for 12A at 690V. To achieve full functionality, this power base must be paired with a compatible LUC control unit, creating a TeSys U starter controller. The modular design facilitates the integration of additional modules, enabling the creation of a comprehensive “all-in-one” starter controller incorporating both basic and advanced protection and control features. The device includes an integrated control terminal block and blanking shutters to cover unused cavities. It exhibits a high short-circuit current rating (Icu) of 50kA at 400V, ensuring robust circuit protection. Operational reliability is assured with a guaranteed start-stop cycle rate of 3600 cycles per hour. The compact footprint (45mm width) allows for space-efficient installation via DIN rail mounting or screw fixing. A padlockable rotary handle provides secure manual control. Certified to meet IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, and Marine standards when used with a LUC control unit, this power base aligns with Green Premium ecological objectives (RoHS/REACh compliant).
