The Thalassa PLAZ enclosure is designed for versatile applications, featuring a sealed top and an open bottom structure, consisting of two side parts, one plain front door, one rear panel, and one plinth. With nominal dimensions of 1500mm in height, 750mm in width, and 620mm in depth, it is suitable for various installations.
This enclosure is constructed from polyester reinforced with fiberglass, ensuring durability and a high degree of protection against environmental hazards. It complies with IEC 60529 and has an IP54 rating, offering significant resistance to dust and water ingress. The enclosure also meets the IK10 rating, as per IEC 62262, which indicates its robustness against impacts.
The front door opens to a 120° angle from either side, facilitating easy access to internal components and is secured by a four-point lock with a handle featuring a 5mm double-bar insert. Maintenance is further simplified with removable doors and rear panels.
This enclosure can withstand temperatures ranging from -35°C to 90°C while maintaining performance integrity and offers fire resistance up to 960°C in accordance with the IEC 62208 standard. Additionally, it is rated with class II electrical insulation to guard against electric shocks, allowing for the construction of fully insulated solutions.
