This communication module is designed specifically for the Modicon M241 and M251 controllers, facilitating connection as a Profibus DP slave. It features a female SUB-D 9 connector for Profibus connections and utilizes a screw connector terminal for functional grounding.

With a compact size of 25 mm in width and 90 mm in height and depth, this module supports various transmission rates: 1.5 Mbit/s at a bus length of 200 m, 500 kbit/s at 400 m, and lower rates down to 9.6 kbit/s for 1200 m. The device operates with a current consumption of 290 mA at 5 V DC and has a power dissipation rating of 1.5 W.

Local signaling includes one green/yellow LED for power supply indication and another green/red LED for communication status. The module conforms to several standards including IEC 61131-2 and UL 508, and is marked with CE certification. It features surge withstand capabilities of 1 kV for DC power lines and up to 2 kV for AC power lines, ensuring reliable operation in various environments.

Designed to mount on top hat type TH35-15 or TH35-7.5 rails, or can be fixed to a plate or panel, this module is suitable for installations requiring robust communication solutions.
