The limit switch XC Standard XCMD is a mechanical device that translates motion into an electrical signal, equipped with 1NC + 1NO snap action contacts for effective switching. Its operation is facilitated by a spring return metal roller lever that supports lateral approach from two directions, enabling versatility in installation.
Constructed from Zamak, this fixed body limit switch measures 30mm in width, 16mm in depth, and 50mm in height. It incorporates a rotary head design, ensuring compatibility with various industrial applications including packaging, materials handling, and food processing. The operating head movement is rotary, and it is actuated by a 30° cam.
Electrical connectivity is achieved through a removable cable connector, accompanied by a 3m cable. Rated for IP66, IP67, and IP68 protection, the device is suitable for harsh environments. Additionally, it has a mechanical durability of approximately 10 million cycles and an electrical durability of 5 million cycles, indicating long service life.
This limit switch meets several international standards including UL 508, EN/IEC 60204-1, and CSA C22.2 No 14, ensuring compliance and reliability in various operational conditions. The product also features a positive opening mechanism, which is critical for safety in machine design.
