The XCSE Key Operated Safety Switch is a reliable solution for guard doors that require locking by solenoid. It boasts an adjustable turret head and a robust red coated rectangular Zamak body with 2 x M20 cable gland entries, allowing for flexible installation. The switch has 1 normally open and 2 normally closed break-before-make (slow break) main contacts actuated by key, and 1 normally open and 1 normally closed auxiliary contacts actuated by the solenoid.

This safety switch is designed to withstand harsh conditions, with a B10D reliability data of 5 000 000. It complies with various international standards including EN/ISO 14119, EN/IEC 60204-1, EN/IEC 60947-5-1, UL 508, and CSA C22.2 No 14. When associated and correctly connected to an appropriate safety control unit, it conforms to Category 4, performance level PL e, SIL 3 as described in EN/ISO 13849-1, EN/IEC 61508.
