The XCSTE Key Operated Safety Switch is designed for use with guard doors, incorporating a locking mechanism activated by a solenoid. The switch is constructed from red polyamide and includes a Pg 11 cable gland entry, allowing for versatile installation options.

It features two normally closed main contacts that operate in a slow break manner, triggered by a key, and one auxiliary normally closed contact that is engaged when the solenoid is de-energized. With a B10D reliability rating of 5,000,000, this product is built for longevity.

It meets IP67 protection standards, making it suitable for deployment in harsh environments. Compliance with key safety standards such as EN/ISO 14119, EN/IEC 60204-1, and EN/IEC 60947-5-1 ensures its reliability. Furthermore, when connected to a compatible safety control unit, it achieves Category 4, performance level PL e, and SIL 3 as outlined in EN/ISO 13849-1 and EN/IEC 61508.
