The XS6 inductive proximity sensor, characterized by its M30 cylindrical design, integrates a PPS sensing face with a nickel-plated brass casing. It supports a supply voltage of 24V to 240V AC/DC, making it versatile for various applications. This sensor is engineered for flush mounting, equipped with an outer thread and twin nuts for secure installation on surfaces or brackets.

With an IP67 rating in accordance with IEC 60529 and IP69K per DIN 40050, the sensor is well-suited for harsh environments. It maintains operational integrity in extreme temperatures, ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The nickel-plated brass material not only provides corrosion resistance but also enhances magnetic shielding, which improves detection accuracy and reduces interference from magnetic disturbances.

For user convenience, the device features four LED viewports for monitoring status, facilitating setup and troubleshooting. The sensor operates with a switching capacity of 5 to 200 mA DC and 5 to 300 mA AC with a maximum delay response of 0.5 ms. Its design allows for effective sensing within a range of 0 to 12 mm, with an exceptional switching frequency of up to 500 Hz DC. The XS6 sensor is CSA and UL certified.
