This transformer model, designated as K-Factor Group A with a K-4 rating, operates with a primary voltage of 480 ∆ and a secondary voltage of 208Y/120. It is available in kVA ratings of 15, 30, 45, 75, 112.5, 150, 225, 300, and 500.

The design effectively addresses the increase in stray losses that can lead to overheating and premature failure of standard transformers when subjected to non-linear loads. With a robust core and coil configuration, these transformers manage the DC flux induced by triplen harmonics, enhancing reliability.
