The S4K2U-C and S4K2U-5C models are designed as single-phase, online uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), ensuring a continuous power supply through double conversion technology. These units are available in various capacities, specifically 500VA, 1000VA, 1500VA, 2000VA, and 3000VA, catering to both 120V and 230V applications.

One of the key features of these UPSs is the zero transfer time from external to internal power sources, which guarantees that critical loads remain supported without interruption during utility power failures. The compact 2U form factor allows for flexible installation, whether in a rack or tower configuration.

With a higher power factor, these UPSs also contribute to longer battery life and increased reliability, thus minimizing the total cost of ownership. The operating temperature range is specified from 0°C to +40°C, and the output voltage is user-configurable within the range of 110/115/120/127 Vac ±3%. The input voltage can handle a range from 60 to 140 Vac, operating at a frequency of 50/60 Hz.
