The EtherNet/IP™ to PROFINET® IO Device (slave) gateway offers bi-directional data transfers between EtherNet/IP™ controllers and a PROFINET® IO controller. The EtherNet/IP™ Driver supports I/O connections for guaranteed data delivery or Message instructions to send data to/from the PACs. The gateway supports 1440 bytes of input data and 1440 bytes of output data for larger applications. In addition, the gateway’s multiple I/O connections, allow you to set different RPIs for control data and module diagnostics, enabling you to optimize your Ethernet bandwidth.

ProSoft Technology’s ILX34-MBS485 module is ideal to connect multiple devices up to 4,000 feet (1,219 meters) from your processor. These include SCADA and field device interface applications. The module can be used in CompactLogix L1 processors or Distributed 1734 Point I/O systems. In addition, the module can be configured as a Master or Slave.

The MVI56E Communication Module allows for Modbus Master and/or Slave connectivity from Rockwell Automation® ControlLogix® processors to Modbus RTU/ASCII devices. Each MVI56E port can be configured as a Master or Slave. The MVI56E-MCM and MVI56E-MCMXT act as input/output modules on the ControlLogix backplane, making Modbus data appear as I/O data to the processor. Two independently configurable serial ports can operate on the same or different Modbus networks.
