The Unicode 2 Series aluminum control stations and switches are engineered for applications in hazardous environments and washdown areas. These devices support a range of push buttons and selector switches, facilitating remote motor control through contactors or magnetic starters, thus ensuring effective circuit control and selection.

These control stations are compliant with ATEX and IECEx standards, suitable for use in Zones 1 and 2, as well as Zones 21 and 22. The products have an IP66 rating for dust and water protection and an IK10 rating for impact resistance. The aluminum body is finished with a gray epoxy powder coat, and features captive 316L stainless steel cover screws for durability.

Visual confirmation of operational status is provided through optional pilot lights, which indicate that electrical functions are active at either local or remote locations. The surface temperature is rated at T75 °C (T167 °F), and the ambient temperature range extends from -55 °C to +60 °C (-67 °F to +140 °F), accommodating various installation conditions.
