The Fluke Calibration 1502A Thermometer Readout is a precision instrument designed for accurate temperature measurement in both laboratory and field settings. This versatile device offers an impressive accuracy of up to ±0.006 °C and a resolution of 0.001 °C across its entire range, making it ideal for demanding applications.
The 1502A model covers a wide temperature range from –200°C to 962°C, ensuring it can handle a variety of measurement tasks. It is compatible with 100-ohm, 25-ohm, and 10-ohm RTD probes, providing flexibility in sensor selection. The device is programmable to match a probe’s constants for maximum linearity and accuracy, and it displays temperature in °C, °F, K, or resistance in ohms.
Advanced features include the ability to read standard industrial IEC-751 / “385 ALPHA” RTDs without requiring programming, and it accepts ITS-90 subranges 4 and 6–11 with built-in formulas. Calibration is performed digitally via the front panel, eliminating the need to open the device. The 1502A also comes with an RS-232 interface, with an optional IEEE-488 interface available for enhanced connectivity.
The compact size of the 1502A makes it the smallest unit in its class, ideal for both field and bench use. It can take readings up to twice per second, significantly speeding up the calibration process. The device is equipped with an 8-digit, 7-segment, yellow-green LED display with 0.5-inch-high characters for easy readability.
