The CLASS 5000 Smart Meters, designated as H50, are designed for advanced energy monitoring in commercial and industrial environments. These meters support dual protocol communications, allowing simultaneous integration with two energy monitoring systems, including Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Measurement and Verification (M&V) tools.

Equipped with a 4-line LCD display featuring backlighting, the meter enhances visibility and usability. It operates within a wide temperature range, from a minimum of -4 °F (-20 °C) to a maximum of 122 °F (50 °C), making it suitable for various environments. The device also maintains functionality in high humidity conditions, up to 95% non-condensing.

With an accuracy of ±1% across a load range from 1% to 100%, the meter features three split-core current sensors and communicates via popular protocols such as LonWorks TP/FT-10 and Modbus TCP/IP. The enclosure is constructed from JIC Steel, ensuring durability in operational settings. This model supports both 3 and 4 wire input voltage configurations, functioning effectively at frequencies of 50 Hz and 60 Hz.
