The Class 5000 (H50) Smart Meters are designed for advanced energy monitoring and feature dual protocol communications. This enables them to simultaneously interface with up to two energy monitoring systems, which may include Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Measurement & Verification (M&V) reporting tools.

Equipped with a 4-line LCD display and backlight, these meters provide clear visibility of critical data. They support RS485 and Ethernet communications, enhancing connectivity options. The device is compliant with regulatory standards including CE and UL/CUL, ensuring reliability in various environments.

With a current capacity of 1600 A and operating voltages of 277/480 V AC, the meter is suitable for both commercial and industrial applications. It features a split-core current sensor type, and its accuracy is ±1% across a load range of 1% to 100%. The enclosure is classified as NEMA 4X, offering protection against environmental factors.

Operating conditions allow a minimum ambient temperature of -4 °F (-20 °C) and a maximum of 122 °F (50 °C), with humidity levels up to 95% non-condensing. The Class 5000 meters include two current sensors and can be configured for 3 or 4 wire input voltage, supporting both 50 Hz and 60 Hz frequencies.
