The gateway supports both PNP and NPN electrical designs and offers a normally open output function. It operates within a wide voltage range of 10 to 30 V DC and includes built-in protection features such as reverse polarity protection, short-circuit protection, and overload protection.

The device's sensing range of 6 mm and its ability to operate in extreme temperatures from -40 to 85°C make it versatile for various industrial applications.
