Keyence ES-M2P

The Keyence ES-M2P Amplifier Unit is an expansion unit designed to enhance the scalability and performance of your system. This unit features a one-line expansion system and offers a switch-selectable operation mode (N.O./N.C.) for versatile application. The PNP output ensures reliable control with a maximum output of 100 mA and a residual voltage of 1 V max.

With a response time of 1 ms max and a 25-turn trimmer for sensitivity adjustment, the ES-M2P provides precise and quick detection capabilities. The unit is equipped with essential protection circuits, including reverse power connection protection, output overcurrent protection, and output surge protection, ensuring robust operation in various environments.

The ES-M2P operates within a power voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC and has a current consumption of 25 mA max. It is designed to function effectively in ambient temperatures ranging from 0 to +50 °C and relative humidity levels of 35 to 85 % RH (non-condensing). The unit's compact design, weighing approximately 35 g, includes nuts and a 2-meter cable for easy installation.

Note that the ES-M2P cannot be connected to certain models (EH-422, 430, 440, or 290), and the ambient temperature range may vary when multiple expansion units are added. For optimal performance, always attach expansion units to a DIN rail and limit the output current to 20 mA or less.
