The Keyence GL-R28H Hand-protection Type Main Unit is designed to provide superior safety in industrial environments. Featuring 28 optical axes, this unit ensures reliable detection with a capability of ø25 mm and a detection height of 540 mm. The total length of 560 mm and protection height of 585 mm make it suitable for various applications.
Equipped with an infrared LED light source (870 nm), the GL-R28H offers a detecting distance of 0.2 to 15 meters and an effective aperture angle of ±2.5°. The unit supports both optical and wire synchronization, ensuring seamless communication between the transmitter and receiver. The light interference prevention function allows for the operation of up to two GL-R systems without mutual interference.
The control output features two transistor outputs (PNP or NPN), with a maximum load current of 500 mA. The supplemental AUX transistor outputs provide additional functionality, supporting load currents up to 50 mA. The unit is designed with robust protection circuits, including reverse current protection, short-circuit protection, and surge protection.
