The Keyence IX-150 Sensor Head is a cutting-edge image-based laser sensor designed for precise detection and measurement applications. With a reference distance of 150 mm, this sensor head offers exceptional accuracy and reliability, making it ideal for various industrial automation tasks.
Featuring a visible light wavelength red semiconductor laser with a 660 nm light source, the IX-150 ensures high-resolution detection capabilities. The sensor operates in both scan mode and line mode, providing versatile measurement options. In scan mode, it covers a detection area of up to 108.5 × 81.0 mm at a measuring distance of 200 mm, while in line mode, it offers a detection width of up to 108.5 mm.
The IX-150 is equipped with a monochrome CMOS image sensor and pulse lighting using a red LED, ensuring consistent and reliable image capture. Its environmental resistance is enhanced by an IP67 enclosure rating, allowing it to withstand harsh industrial environments. The sensor head is designed to operate within a temperature range of 0 to +45°C and can handle relative humidity levels of 35 to 85% RH without condensation.
With a robust construction featuring a zinc die-casting main unit case, glass and acrylic front cover, and TPU operation indicator cover, the IX-150 is built to last. It also includes a connector ring made of PBT and a zinc die-casting connector for secure connections.
