Keyence PZ-G51N

The Keyence PZ-G51N is a high-performance square transmissive photoelectric sensor designed for industrial applications. Featuring a built-in amplifier, this sensor offers reliable detection with a 20-meter detecting distance and red LED light source. The sensor is equipped with a 1-turn trimmer for easy sensitivity adjustment and a switch-selectable LIGHT-ON/DARK-ON operation mode. Its robust design includes a glass-fibre reinforced PBT housing and polyarylate lens cover, ensuring durability in harsh environments.

With an IP67, NEMA 4A, 6, 12, and DIN IP69K enclosure rating, the PZ-G51N is highly resistant to water and dust ingress, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial settings. The sensor also features interference suppression for up to 2 units when polarization filters are attached, and it includes protection circuits for reversed polarity, overcurrent, and surge absorption.

The PZ-G51N's control output is an open collector output with a maximum of 30 V and 100 mA, and it has a fast response time of 500 µs. The sensor's indicators include orange LEDs for power and output, a green LED for stable operation, and a red LED for light receiving. It operates within a temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and can withstand vibrations and shocks, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions.
