The Keyence Bar Type Main Unit, Standard Model 2280 mm SJ-E228A is designed for effective static elimination in various industrial applications. Utilizing a corona discharge method, this unit ensures reliable performance with a shockless resistive coupling type structure. The pulse AC method with ±8000 V applied voltage and Hi-Power I.C.C. method for ion balance control guarantee precise static elimination with an ion balance of ±30 V.

Installation is flexible, with a distance range of 50 to 2000 mm, making it suitable for diverse setups. Control inputs include static elimination stop input via NPN open collector or contact point signal without voltage, while control outputs feature ion level warning, condition warning, and alarm output via NPN open collector with a maximum of 100 mA (40 VDC or less).

Key functions such as condition alarm, ion level alarm, and alarm output enhance operational safety and monitoring. The unit includes an air connection port (Rc 1/8) and operates effectively with an air supply pressure of 0.1 MPa to 0.5 MPa, with a recommended pressure of 0.2 MPa.

Constructed with durable materials including tungsten electrode probes and a main body made of ABS, PBT, PP, LCP, PPS, SPS, and SUS, the SJ-E228A is built to withstand demanding environments. It operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to +40°C and relative humidity of 35 to 85% RH without condensation.
