The Keyence SL-V64H Safety Light Curtain is designed to provide robust protection in industrial environments. Featuring 64 optical axes, this general-purpose unit ensures precise and reliable detection with a detection capability of ø0.98" (ø25 mm). The beam axis spacing of 20 mm and an effective aperture angle of ±2.5° make it suitable for a wide range of applications.
Equipped with an infrared LED light source, the SL-V64H operates efficiently within a working distance of 0.1 to 9 meters. The unit's response times are optimized for quick detection, with ON→OFF at 14.7 ms and OFF→ON at 54.7 ms. The light curtain is designed to turn on when no interruptions are present in the detection zone, ensuring maximum safety.
The SL-V64H supports both PNP and NPN outputs, with a maximum load current of 500 mA. It includes various protection circuits such as reverse current protection, short-circuit protection, and surge protection for each output. The unit is compliant with multiple international safety standards, including IEC61496-1, EN61496-1, UL61496-1 (Type 4 ESPE), and IEC61508 (SIL3).
Constructed with an aluminum main unit case and a polycarbonate front cover, the SL-V64H is built to withstand harsh industrial conditions. It has an enclosure rating of IP65, making it resistant to dust and water. The unit can operate in temperatures ranging from -10 to +55 °C and can withstand vibrations and shocks, ensuring durability and reliability in demanding environments.
