The A50QS Amp-Trap® Form 101 fuse is designed to enhance the performance of semiconductor fuses in alignment with evolving equipment demands. It integrates advanced protection capabilities, including a lower I²t rating that safeguards equipment more effectively, an extended lifespan under cyclic loading, and reduced watt loss. This model is particularly suited for the protection of dynamic solid-state devices, such as motor drives, inverters, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). The fuse operates within a maximum temperature of 80 °C and is capable of handling rated voltages of 500V AC and 500V DC. With a breaking capacity of 63 kA, it ensures reliable protection against overloads and faults.

Constructed with a diameter of 1.5 inches, the A50QS features a body insulating material made of GMG and tin-plated copper for its connection terminals, which are designed for bolted mounting.
