Neutrik NC6MD-LX-B

The 6 pole male receptacle, part of the DLX series, is designed with a compact all-metal housing that incorporates a duplex ground contact, delivering superior RF protection and shielding. This receptacle is compliant with IEC 61076-2-103 standards and features a protection class of IP 40, ensuring durability in various environments.

With a temperature range of -30 °C to +80 °C, it is suitable for a wide range of applications. The receptacle offers a capacitance between contacts of ≤ 7 pF and a contact resistance of ≤ 5 mΩ, making it effective for high-performance connectivity. The dielectric strength is rated at 1.5 kVdc, while the insulation resistance exceeds 10 GΩ initially.

Mechanically, the receptacle is built for longevity, with a lifetime of over 1000 mating cycles and a maximum insertion and withdrawal force of ≤ 20 N. It supports wire sizes up to 1.0 mm² or 18 AWG, with solder contacts for secure connections. The locking device features a latch lock mechanism, and the chassis is shaped as type D.

The materials used include brass contacts with a 0.2 µm gold plating over a 2 µm nickel layer, ensuring excellent conductivity. The insert is made of polyamide (PA 6.6 30 % GR), while the shell is constructed of zinc diecast (ZnAl4Cu1) with black chromium plating for enhanced corrosion resistance.
