Opis produktu
The factory sealed front operated tumbler switches are engineered for use in environments with a risk of explosion and dust ignition. These switches are particularly suitable for classified areas where ignitable gases, vapors, or combustible dust are present, such as in chemical and petrochemical facilities, refineries, and various process industries. The designation code ensures compliance with safety standards for hazardous locations.
Constructed with a malleable iron body and covers, these switches feature a nylon 6/6 handle and an optional corrosion-resistant stainless steel nameplate mounting bracket. They come with a triple-coat finish comprising zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coat for enhanced durability. Alternatively, 1- or 2-gang copper-free aluminum bodies and covers can be specified. The nameplate mounting bracket simplifies circuit identification, mitigating the need for costly field installation adjustments.
