The Schneider Electric TeSys Giga contactor is a high-power, high-reliability device designed for demanding applications. It is suitable for AC-1 category with a maximum current rating of 330A at 440V. This contactor features a 48-130V AC/DC wide band low consumption electronic coil and an embedded highly reliable 1NO+1NC auxiliary contact block (17V 1mA).
The TeSys Giga contactor is designed to operate at maximum rates of up to 600 cycles per hour in environments up to 60°C. It offers a mechanical durability of 5 Mcycles, ensuring high reliability and durability. The contactor also includes a local Contact Wear Diagnosis (CWD) function for continuous monitoring with healthy and alarm indicators.
The TeSys Giga contactor can be fixed in all quadrants, allowing maintenance without removing cables/busbars. It is equipped with IP2x protection in the front face with shrouds conforming to IEC 60529 and VDE 0106. The contactor can operate at ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to 60°C and can be directly mounted on a plate, with no derating up to 3000m altitude.
The TeSys Giga contactor has a compact size of 255mm x 143mm x 175mm (H x W x D), enabling panel space savings. It is certified under multiple standards (CE, CB, CCC, cULus, EAC, KC, RCM, Marine) and complies with the Green Premium standard (RoHS/Reach). The contactor also features a unique QR code for quick access to complete product data.
