The TeSys Vario switch disconnector, designated as VN20, operates with three poles and is suitable for main switching in motor applications with a power rating of up to 5.5kW at 400V AC-23. It is specifically designed for door mounting and features a single hole fixing of 22.5 mm, providing a robust installation.

Constructed with a VZ20 switch body, this model includes a padlockable black and grey rotary handle, ensuring safe operation with IP65 protection against dust and water ingress. The device is rated for a maximum operational voltage of 690V AC and can handle direct current operations up to 250V, depending on the number of contacts in series.

This switch disconnector is certified to various international standards, including IEC, UL, and CSA, reflecting its compliance with multiple safety and performance requirements. Its mechanical robustness allows it to withstand shocks and vibrations, conforming to IEC 60068 standards, while its fire resistance is rated at 960 °C according to IEC 60695.

With a conventional free air thermal current of 20A and a breaking capacity of 200 kA at 400V for different AC categories, this device is engineered for high durability, offering up to 50,000 electrical cycles in AC-21 applications.
