Schneider Electric's Square D heavy-duty safety switch is engineered for durability and performance under demanding conditions. It boasts a threefold increase in lifespan compared to standard switches, making it an ideal choice for commercial and industrial applications.
This switch comes equipped with a quick-make, quick-break operating mechanism, dual cover interlock, and color-coded indicator handle. Rated at 60A with a voltage of 240VAC and 250VDC, it offers a short circuit rating of either 10kA or 200kA depending on the fuses used.
This three-blade fusible heavy-duty safety switch is Type 12 rated with a galvannealed steel enclosure and includes a factory-installed viewing window. It accepts H, K, R fuse types as shipped and can be field modified for J fuses.
The device features a 3-wire configuration of 3 poles but can accommodate a solid neutral in the field using a solid neutral kit. It comes with factory installed equipment ground lugs. The wire range for this switch is AWG 12 to AWG 3 aluminium and AWG 14 to AWG 3 copper.
All heavy-duty safety switches are tested per UL98 and NEMA KS1 standards and listed in the UL files E2875 and E154828.
