Schneider Electric XCRA15

The limit switch, part of the XC Special range, is designed to convert mechanical movements into electrical signals. It is equipped with 2 x (1 normally closed + 1 normally opened) snap action contacts that provide reliable operation through positive opening. The device features a spring return thermoplastic roller lever and is capable of lateral approach from two directions. The rotary movement of the operating head enhances versatility in application.

Electrical connections are facilitated by screw clamp terminals, accommodating wire sizes from 1 x 0.34 mm² to 2 x 1.5 mm². The limit switch is housed in a fixed body made of zinc alloy and has dimensions of 85mm in width, 75mm in depth, and 95mm in height, with a weight of 1.155kg. It is rated IP54, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress.

Operating under a maximum electrical current of 3A at 240V AC and 0.27A at 250V AC, the device has a conventional enclosed thermal current rating of 10A. It exhibits mechanical durability of up to 10 million cycles and electrical durability of 5 million cycles. The operating temperature range spans from -25°C to 70°C, making it suitable for various industrial environments, including hoisting and mechanical handling applications. The limit switch complies with multiple standards, including EN 60947-5-1 and IEC 60947-5-1, and carries certifications from CCC and CSA.
