Equipped with Teltonika's RutOS, an OpenWrt-based Linux OS, the RUTX12 offers extensive network management capabilities, including failover, VLAN, QoS, load balancing, and dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPFv2, RIPv1/v2, and EIGRP.

Monitoring and management are made easy with multiple interfaces, including WEB UI, CLI, SSH, SMS, TR-069, SNMP, JSON-RPC, MQTT, MODBUS, and RMS. The router also supports various cloud solutions like RMS, FOTA, Azure IoT Hub, Cloud of Things, Cumulocity, and ThingWorx.
