ACIMEX is an international expert in industrial heavy load handling, specializing in vacuum lifting solutions for various types of loads. The company designs custom-made equipment utilizing vacuum, electricity, or automation to meet specific client demands. ACIMEX offers global lifting solutions for heavy charges, catering to diverse sectors such as aeronautics, industrial automation, concrete prefabrication, pipeline, railway, metallurgy, tunnel construction, and port operations. With 51 years of experience, ACIMEX produces 150 machines annually and has a lifting capacity of up to 950 tons per year, serving 66 importing countries. They also provide equipment for moving large plates and sheets up to 30 tons, including their Metallift range. ACIMEX is now part of Construx Group, a leader in precast concrete solutions, and also operates ACIMEX Chine. ACIMEX, a dynamic French SME founded in 1971, initially gained recognition in France for handling and lifting sheet metal and steel plates for the metallurgy and mechanical industries. The company expanded its expertise into concrete and tube handling, becoming a leader in lifting solutions for tunnels. In 2010, ACIMEX was acquired by CBE Group, a global expert in tunnel segment mould design. ACIMEX operates its administrative offices and production workshop in Saint-Avertin, Centre-Val de Loire, housing an integrated design office that creates custom 3D equipment. Certified ISO 9001 (2015 version) since 2016, ACIMEX ensures professionalism and compliance with legal standards across production, delivery, and after-sales service. Export activities represent 70% of the company's turnover, with recent international projects including erectors, segment wagons, and demoulders for the Sydney metro, a segment erector and train wagon for a new highway tunnel in Sicily, segment clamps for the São Paulo metro, and an erector and segment wagon for the Riyadh metro. In 2016, ACIMEX opened a production entity, SHAANXI ACIMEX Mechanical Equipment Co., Ltd, in China, to better serve its Chinese clients while leveraging French engineering expertise from its Saint-Avertin design office.
