The lead recovered from used batteries is processed into refined lead, primarily supplied to lead-acid battery manufacturers. Electrolyte and sulfur from desulfurized paste are transformed into crystalline sodium sulfate, a versatile chemical used in the chemical, detergent, glass, paper, and textile industries. Additionally, polypropylene from battery casings is recycled for producers of plastic products, ensuring ecological recycling practices that meet national and EU safety and environmental standards.
