Godisfabriken Aroma

Konfektyrfabriken Aroma AB, also known as Godisfabriken Aroma, is a prominent Swedish confectionery manufacturer based in Stockholm, with a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1921. Founded by Gottfrid Eklund and Max Forslund, the company initially focused on hand-making fudge as Kolafabriken Aroma. Over the decades, Aroma expanded its product range significantly, becoming renowned for its diverse gelé (jelly) products, including iconic Swedish classics like green frogs, crocodiles, jelly raspberries, raspberry boats, licorice boats, jelly rats, snakes, and tool-shaped candies, many designed by the artist Jerrefeldt. Since 2004, Aroma has also ventured into high-quality chocolate production for the bulk market, integrating Stens choklad AB. In 2019, through the acquisition of Dals Konfektyr, Aroma solidified its position as Sweden's third-largest confectionery manufacturer and a leading producer of bulk candy in the Swedish market, continuing to uphold its strong Swedish heritage and local manufacturing commitment.
