Győri Szeszgyár és Finomító Zrt. is a Hungarian family-owned manufacturer and refiner of high-quality alcohol, operating since 1884. The company primarily serves pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturers, as well as beverage and vinegar producers, and suppliers to the paint, lacquer, film, and plastics industries. Győri Szeszgyár produces fermented, multi-distilled ethyl alcohol from sugar beet molasses for the pharmaceutical and food industries. Additionally, the company offers alcohol products for various branches of the chemical industry and markets vinasse, an organic fertilizer, derived from molasses processing. Since 2013, Győri Szeszgyár has also been manufacturing and selling bottled products, distributing millions of liters annually to domestic and international retail chains. They also provide filling services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in jerry cans, barrels, and IBCs. The company has an annual production capacity of 40 million liters of fine spirit and a 60 million liter alcohol dehydration capacity. Győri Szeszgyár has been ISO 9001 certified since 1996 and ISO 14001 certified since 1998.
