HEIGL GmbH Antriebe Konzeptionen is an established German middle-sized company with over 30 years of experience as a distributor and manufacturer of drive technology and industrial automation solutions. Initially focusing on DC motors and power converters (HA-05) in the 1970s, the company became a pioneer in frequency converter technology with its own brand, SYNTAC. Since the early 1990s, HEIGL GmbH has equipped numerous industries with its self-developed and manufactured frequency converters, many of which are still in operation and supported by professional service. In the 1990s, the company also developed the first frequency converters for vibration technology and concrete compaction, supplying large OEMs. By late 2008, HEIGL GmbH expanded its complete product range for concrete compaction for the construction equipment market and became an approved supplier to a major purchasing association. Since early 2009, HEIGL GmbH has been an authorized distributor for the Korean LG Group, distributing LS Industrial Systems (now LS ELECTRIC) frequency converters, PLCs, touchscreen displays, and automation accessories in German-speaking regions. In 2013, the company built its new headquarters and warehouse in Schöneck, further expanding its product range to include advanced PLC and servo solutions by 2023.
