Hydrostadium

Since the company was established in 2001, Hydrostadium has specialised in whitewater-course engineering. In 2007, the company turned its attention to hydro-electric engineering. Water management constitutes the common thread that runs through both business lines, which enable the EDF Group, local authorities, public institutions and companies to optimise their hydro-electric power plants and build whitewater sport facilities. Drawing on its widely-acknowledged know-how, Hydrostadium has built several facilities around the world, including whitewater stadiums for the Olympic Games of Sydney, Athens and Beijing. These stadiums constitute innovative achievements that are based on six international patents and promise a bright future.
