IMW Industries, founded in 1912 as Ironsides Machining & Welding in Chilliwack, BC, Canada, is a leading manufacturer and supplier of compression solutions for compressed natural gas (CNG), renewable natural gas (RNG) and hydrogen infrastructure. The company has been producing CNG handling solutions since 1984, delivering quality-engineered products and proven technology globally across more than 30 countries. IMW Industries opened its first South American office in Barranquilla, Colombia, in 2004, offering equipment, parts, technical assistance, and localized assembly. In 2010, the company joined Clean Energy Fuels Corp, a major provider of natural gas compression and refilling solutions in North America. By 2011, IMW further expanded its South American commitment with a dedicated service center in Peru, enhancing regional support and tailored solutions for clients. In 2017, IMW merged with SAFE S.p.A, becoming SAFEIMW under the Landi Renzo Group.
