Kirchgässner Elektrotechnik GmbH is a family-owned company specializing in complex automation solutions, control technology, and fire department technology. Operating from three locations, the company develops and implements projects internationally. Founded in Binau on July 3, 1989, Kirchgässner initially focused on delivering switchgear and software solutions for automation applications as a sub-supplier. Over time, the company expanded its production facilities and transformed into a total plant manufacturer, shipping products globally. In October 1992, Kirchgässner integrated Elgawa Plauen, restructuring its production to include switchgear manufacturing based on CAD construction, automation plant engineering, steel construction, and flame technology. This strategic expansion has ensured a continuously increasing workload for the company, establishing it as a comprehensive supplier in industrial automation. They offer a range of pallet storage systems for machine tools, including rotary (MPS) and linear (LPC, LPS) systems, and develop customized solutions in conveyor technology, robotics, gantry systems, foaming, and flame treatment systems. Furthermore, Kirchgässner provides modular logistics and assembly vehicles (FTF) with various navigation systems, all built to customer specifications. The company also upholds the tradition of Bachert, Germany's oldest fire department company, known for manufacturing fire sprinklers and pumps since 1748.
