Maglificio Maggia

Maglificio Maggia S.r.l. is a historical textile manufacturer operating in the Biella district, Piedmont, since the 18th century, specializing in the production of high-quality knitted fabrics on circular looms for high-end and luxury apparel. The company, owned by the Maggia family for nine generations, integrated jersey and knit production in the 1990s. Maglificio Maggia creates a wide range of fabric types, from simple T-shirt jerseys to mercerized interlocks for shirts, fleeces, and double fabrics for outerwear, as well as technical fabrics and sponges, utilizing noble cotton, fine wool, soft cashmere, alpaca, mohair, silk, and viscose. Committed to environmental sustainability, Maglificio Maggia participates in initiatives like MagnoLab and SlowFiber, and since autumn 2023, has appointed a sustainability manager and is preparing its first Sustainability Report.
